He will even test random dishes from time to time to ensure that each dish is staying true to its original recipe. Don [the owner] explained how they use Hatch green chilies from New Mexico and fresh blue corn tortillas that are not just color dyed, as opposed to other places. Cafe Olé’s fresh ingredients not only look good and taste good (most important), but they leave you feeling good!”

"Cafe Ole is so quaint and scrumptious. The waitstaff makes you feel like you are a part of their family. Seriously, you go a few times and they know you and what you like. For me that is the originally queso (in my opinion if you don't go original you aren't experiencing Cafe Ole) and a house marg with salt. I literally could be 100% satisfied with chips, queso and a marg. However, if you are going to do a full meal, consider this your warning--pace yourself of the chips and dips or you won't be able to put any of that delish meal away!"

"My wife and I frequent Cafe Ole at least once a month and it has some new items on the menu. So we went there last nite--and what a deal! Not only did I get a very tasty treat when I ordered "Southwest Lasagna" but we cuddled next to the real wood fire all by our selves! It was cold enough where everybody else would not brave the outdoor section--but we did and loved it! The romantic atmosphere was great. The Southwest Lasagna is one of many new items on the menu and it hot--both in temp and taste and a wonderful mix of ingredients that made it truly "southwest" We highly recommend it."
